Nexus Circular, a leader in advanced recycling and circular resource innovation, is pleased to announce its expanded membership with the American Chemistry Council (ACC).

Nexus Circular, a leader in advanced recycling and circular resource innovation, is pleased to announce its expanded membership with the American Chemistry Council (ACC). This collaboration underscores Nexus’s ongoing commitment to innovation, continuous performance improvement, and supporting sustainable business solutions across the plastics value chain.

With this expanded role in ACC, Nexus Circular aims to further accelerate the transition to a circular economy by converting landfill-bound plastics into high-quality materials. Nexus is proud to join ACC and its partners in pursuit of responsible manufacturing and climate-forward solutions that benefit both our customers and the planet.

Nexus’s proprietary pyrolysis-based process diverts hard-to-recycle plastics from landfills and transforms them into circular materials used by global companies to create new plastic products – helping displace virgin, fossil-based resources and meet sustainability goals.

About the membership approval
At the ACC Board of Directors meeting held on November 5, 2025, ACC approved the addition of five new Manufacturing Members and one Associate Member, including Nexus Circular,  as well as two new Responsible Care® Partners.

As part of the ACC membership, Nexus Circular will engage in ACC’s programs and initiatives around safety, sustainability, innovation and policy, especially those tied to the Responsible Care® ethic, championing continuous improvement throughout the chemical value-chain.

Why this matters

  • Nexus Circular’s proprietary pyrolysis-based technology converts landfill-bound plastics into high-quality materials for global manufacturing, thereby displacing fossil-based resources and supporting corporate sustainability targets.
  • Being a member of ACC offers access to a broad industry network, policy advocacy, safety-and-sustainability frameworks, and collaborative innovation opportunities that help scale circular solutions.
  • For corporate customers, stakeholders and communities, the membership underscores Nexus Circular’s credibility and alignment with recognized best-practices in chemical manufacturing and recycling.
